Here is a list of the fabrics I recommend. They cover a fair range of weights, textures and prices. All colors listed may not always be available, and I will call you for a second choice if this is ever the case. If you do not see what you are looking for, email me with your request (color and/or fabric) and I will let you know if I can do it and give you an estimate.

All fabrics listed are machine washable in cold water, preferably on the gentle cycle, and tumble dry on low.

All fabric has been prewashed.

Crepe

A beautiful, slightly nubby-textured fabric that drapes like nobody's business. Crepe comes in a variety of weights and textures. Crepe also washes like a dream. Throw it in the washer using cold water, the gentle cycle, then in the dryer on low. Requires no ironing.

Hampton Crepe - Light weight and drapey. Prefect for all the robes and dresses shown. Good for warm to moderate weather and indoor activities.

Colors: Black, creme, navy, burgundy, rust, claret (brownish burgundy) dark green. (sometimes available in a wide variety of pastels)

This is the most cost-effective choice of fabrics. I personally believe it looks, feels, drapes, wears, and washes better then cotton, which is the comparably priced fabric being used for robes on the market today.

                      Doublet $ TBA

Satins

Very dressy fabric with a shiny feel and appearance. Satin comes in a few different weights and range from the more traditional (stiff) satins to soft, drapey satins. These satins are machine washable in cold water on gentle cycle and dryable on low, but must be taken out and hung up immediately.

Crepe Back Satin - Pretty much the same as tradional (bridal) Satin although slightly less stiff. (I will only use bridal satin if I cannot get the desired color in crepe back satin. Bridal satin is more prone to water spots and thread pulls, and is stiffer than the crepe back. Bridal satin however is better for items like the bodice, where stiffness is desireable. Please specify if you have a preference. Otherwise, except where indicated, I will use the crepe back satin.)

Colors: Black, creme, navy, soft gold, silver, forest green, deep purple.

Same Prices as Hampton Crepe

* I Personally do not recommend either of the satins listed above for the Raven style of dress. The Windsor satin would work better if a satin is desired because it is so much softer.

Windsor Satin - An absolutely gorgeous, soft, drapey, medium weight satin. This fabric has a softer, more shimmery shine than either of the other satins. Perfect for all robes and dresses shown. Makes a knock out cloak!

This is my personal choice for any and all special occasion or when you just want to look and feel fantastic!!!

colors: Black, creme, midnight blue, spruce, silver, royal purple, bright (reddish) burgundy, deep claret (browish burgundy). ( Also comes in a variety of pastels)

Peachskin

A wonderfully soft, drapey fabric that looks and feels just like sandwashed silk but is machine washable in cold water on the gentle cycle and dryable on low. Will wear better and last longer than silk.

colors: Brown, navy, moss green, rust.

Same prices as regular peachskin.

Velvets

Crushed Stretch Velvet - A Gorgeous medium weight fabric. Very rich looking. I do not recommend this for the robes because of it's stretchiness (although it can be done.) Looks awesome with the Raven style dress and as a cloak!

Colors: Black, spruce, medium purple, burgundy, rusty brown (more brown)

            Bodice $35

             Kirtle $155

Cottons

Cottons are good, affordable fabrics for most of the garments shown. However, Cotton will fade with frequent washings, will wear thin over time in places such as knees, elbows, etc..., and does not look quite right unless ironed. Cotton also does not drape or move as well as some of the other fabrics listed. In the long run, cotton is no more affordable than the others I recommend.

Broadcloth - a soft thin cotton.

Colors: Black, creme, white, navy, hunter, brown, rust, royal purple, burgundy, red.
