Here is a list of the fabrics I recommend. They cover a fair range of weights, textures and prices. All colors listed may not always be available, and I will call you for a second choice if this is ever the case. If you do not see what you are looking for, email me with your request (color and/or fabric) and I will let you know if I can do it and give you an estimate.
All fabrics listed are machine washable in cold water, preferably on the gentle cycle, and tumble dry on low.
All fabric has been prewashed.
A beautiful, slightly nubby-textured fabric that drapes like nobody's business. Crepe comes in a variety of weights and textures. Crepe also washes like a dream. Throw it in the washer using cold water, the gentle cycle, then in the dryer on low. Requires no ironing.
Hampton Crepe - Light weight and drapey. Prefect for all the robes and dresses shown. Good for warm to moderate weather and indoor activities.
Colors: Black, creme, navy, burgundy, rust, claret (brownish burgundy) dark green. (sometimes available in a wide variety of pastels)
This is the most cost-effective choice of fabrics. I personally believe it looks, feels, drapes, wears, and washes better then cotton, which is the comparably priced fabric being used for robes on the market today.
Prices: All robes without hood $100 with hood $110 Mortisha or Raven $75 short/$85 long Zorro Shirt $60 Hood and Mantle $35 Tunic/Vest $80/$60 Royal Tunic $65 Chemise $85 Shirt/Skirt (chemise) $60/$70
Crinkle Rayon Crepe - Same as the Hampton Crepe but this one has small wrinkles throughout it.
Colors: Black, white, navy
Caressable Crepe - A little heavier then the Hampton or Crinkle Crepes. Very soft to the touch. Good for a slightly heavier robe (moderate weather) and lighter weight cloaks.
Colors: Black, Creme, navy, rust, burgundy, spruce.
Prices: All robes without hood $175 with hood $185 Mortisha or Raven $140 Short/$150 Long Zorro Shirt $115 Hood and Mantle $70 Cloak without hood $230 With hood $250 Tunic/Vest $155/$115 Royal Tunic $120
Wool Crepe - A beautiful drapey, medium weight wool fabric. Good for lighter weight cloaks and tunics. Warmth without a heavy feel.
Colors: Red, spruce, purple, brown.
Prices: Cloak without hood $275 with hood $300 Hood and Mantle $90 Tunic/vest $200/$150 Royal Tunic $150 Doublet $ TBA
Very dressy fabric with a shiny feel and appearance. Satin comes in a few different weights and range from the more traditional (stiff) satins to soft, drapey satins. These satins are machine washable in cold water on gentle cycle and dryable on low, but must be taken out and hung up immediately.
Crepe Back Satin - Pretty much the same as tradional (bridal) Satin although slightly less stiff. (I will only use bridal satin if I cannot get the desired color in crepe back satin. Bridal satin is more prone to water spots and thread pulls, and is stiffer than the crepe back. Bridal satin however is better for items like the bodice, where stiffness is desireable. Please specify if you have a preference. Otherwise, except where indicated, I will use the crepe back satin.)
Colors: Black, creme, navy, soft gold, silver, forest green, deep purple.
* I Personally do not recommend either of the satins listed above for the Raven style of dress. The Windsor satin would work better if a satin is desired because it is so much softer.
Windsor Satin - An absolutely gorgeous, soft, drapey, medium weight satin. This fabric has a softer, more shimmery shine than either of the other satins. Perfect for all robes and dresses shown. Makes a knock out cloak!
This is my personal choice for any and all special occasion or when you just want to look and feel fantastic!!!
colors: Black, creme, midnight blue, spruce, silver, royal purple, bright (reddish) burgundy, deep claret (browish burgundy). ( Also comes in a variety of pastels)

A wonderfully soft, drapey fabric that looks and feels just like sandwashed silk but is machine washable in cold water on the gentle cycle and dryable on low. Will wear better and last longer than silk.
Lightweight Peachskin - Very light, drapey fabric that looks and feels like sandwashed silk. Good for all robes and dresses shown. Best in warmer weather and indoor activites.
Colors: Black, dark navy (almost black), very dark purple (almost black), taupe, forest green, burgundy, red.
Prices: All robes without hood $155 with hood $165 Mortisha or Raven $115 Short/$125 long Zorro Shirt $95 Hood and Mantle $60 Tunic/Vest $125/$95 Royal Tunic $95
Crushed Satin Peachskin - A little heavier then lightweight peachskin. Has a crushed satin or crushed velvet-like texture to it. Works well with all dresses and robes. Warm to moderate weather.
colors: Brown, navy, moss green, rust.
Crushed Stretch Velvet - A Gorgeous medium weight fabric. Very rich looking. I do not recommend this for the robes because of it's stretchiness (although it can be done.) Looks awesome with the Raven style dress and as a cloak!

Cottons are good, affordable fabrics for most of the garments shown. However, Cotton will fade with frequent washings, will wear thin over time in places such as knees, elbows, etc..., and does not look quite right unless ironed. Cotton also does not drape or move as well as some of the other fabrics listed. In the long run, cotton is no more affordable than the others I recommend.
Broadcloth - a soft thin cotton.

Corduroy - medium to heavy weight corded fabric. Comes in pin wale, wide wale and a variety of geometric or block patterns. Works best with tunics, doublets, bodices, and cloaks.

Note: There are a wide variety of specialty fabrics on the market today that would work well for the garments shown. Examples include polyesters that look and feel like real silk, stretch and woven lace fabrics, novelty and glitter fabrics (both knit and woven), the new burn out fabrics, (which look wonderful as an overskirt with a bodice of velour or velvet!) If you find/see something you like, email me with a name and a description of the fabric (cotton, poly, rayon, etc...), woven or knit, care instructions, etc... and I will tell you if I can/will do it.
DO NOT JUST SEND FABRIC!
I do not have the equipment to work with real leather or suede.
If I agree to use your fabric (shipped to me), I will make the garment for 60% of the listed price. (40% off).
If you prefer, send a check or money order for $10 and I will send you a collection of swatches of either the lightweight fabrics or heavier fabrics offered here, or up to 10 swatches of novelty/specialty fabrics I have found that would work well for some of the garments shown.
Please be sure to indicate whether you want swatches of:
*Light/medium weight fabrics listed here
